The Role
As Head of People at Vionlabs, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our company by executing hands-on HR strategies that directly impact our mission to revolutionize the media and entertainment industry with AI-powered solutions. You will take ownership of core HR functions, including performance management, talent development, and fostering cultural initiatives, to create an exceptional workplace where our people can thrive.
This role combines strategic vision with practical execution. You will actively enhance employer branding, utilize HR analytics to drive data-informed decisions, and support managers across all stages of the employee lifecycle. From designing and implementing initiatives to rolling up your sleeves to get things done, you will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to ensure we attract, retain, and develop the right talent, while cultivating a culture that embodies our values and accelerates business success.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support organizational objectives.
- Drive performance management and talent strategies that align with the growth and innovation goals of Vionlabs.
- Lead initiatives to build a strong, unified company culture across our global teams, ensuring employees feel engaged, valued, and connected.
Talent Acquisition and Recruiting
- Develop and execute innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire exceptional candidates who align with Vionlabs’ mission and values.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, refine recruitment processes, and ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience.
- Build and maintain a strong employer brand that resonates with top talent across the tech, AI, and SaaS sectors.
- Leverage tools, networks, and recruitment analytics to identify and secure the best candidates across key functions and regions.
Talent Development and Engagement
- Oversee performance management processes, including learning and development programs that drive employee growth and productivity.
- Design and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent across tech, product, and sales teams.
- Use workforce data and analytics to inform strategic decisions, enhance recruitment efforts, and optimize employee development initiatives.
Operational Excellence
- Develop and standardize compensation frameworks, role structures, and benefits across multiple regions to ensure consistency and fairness.
- Create and manage frameworks for feedback, career development, and leadership coaching.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations across Sweden, Europe, and other key markets.
Culture and Innovation
- Champion and evolve Vionlabs’ unique company culture to foster collaboration, creativity, and inclusivity.
- Lead initiatives that enhance organizational flexibility and spark innovation to support our transformation into a scalable SaaS business.
- Organize company-wide events and initiatives that strengthen engagement and promote a sense of community across teams.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a dynamic leader who is passionate about people and thrives in building strong, innovative teams.
You Have:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in HR leadership roles, ideally in a SaaS, tech, or media environment.
- Experience with equity-like incentive programs
- Proven success in driving recruitment, retention, and development strategies in scaling organizations.
- Strong knowledge of Swedish labor laws and experience working across multiple regions (Nordics, Europe, or globally).
- Expertise in HR systems and analytics to inform strategic decisions.
