Overview
• The Learning Development dep’ needs a learning coordinator. 2 people in the Dept now.
• Training Coordination: Support the scheduling, logistics, and execution of learning programs, both virtual and in-person.
• Participant Communication: Manage communications with employees and managers regarding training sessions, including invitations, reminders, and follow-ups.
• Learning Management System (LMS) Support: Assist in updating and maintaining course enrollments, training records, and reporting within the company’s LMS.
• Vendor and Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with external training vendors, instructors, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth program delivery.
• Materials & Content Management: Support the preparation of training materials, presentations, and other learning resources.
• Evaluation & Reporting: Collect and analyze feedback from training participants to improve programs and generate reports on learning metrics.
• Administrative Support: Assist in budget tracking, invoice processing, and other administrative tasks related to L&D initiatives.
Must Have
• 1+ years of experience in a Learning & Development or Training Coordinator role.
• Education: Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a professional and engaging approach.
• Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using Learning Management Systems (LMS), Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and virtual learning platforms (Zoom, MS Teams, Webex).
• Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and pay close attention to details.
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Nice To Have
• Experience working in a corporate Learning & Development team within a large organization.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and training evaluation methods.
• Knowledge of e-learning tools or instructional design basics is an asset.
