Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support school-based programs remotely. In this role, you will provide direct and consultative behavior support services to students, teachers, and school staff to help create and maintain effective learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students in collaboration with school staff and families.
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify and address challenging behaviors.
- Provide ongoing training and support to teachers and paraprofessionals on behavior management strategies and data collection techniques.
- Analyze data to assess progress and make data-driven recommendations for behavior intervention adjustments.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support goal-setting and ensure alignment with students' needs.
- Collaborate effectively with school teams, including special education staff, counselors, and administrators.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Must hold current BCBA certification and Illinois PEL (to work in schools).
- Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience providing school-based ABA services.
- Proficiency in conducting FBAs and developing BIPs.
- Strong understanding of special education law and procedures, including IEP processes.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Comfortable using telehealth platforms and technology to deliver remote services.
