The Role:

As Yubico’s Director, Global Social Media and Influencer Relations, you’ll be the voice, vibe, and virtual handshake of our established brand that has been built and thoughtfully curated over the years. Your mission? Build on the great work by growing, maintaining, and protecting Yubico’s public image across all our owned and earned social channels. You'll craft strategies based not only on proven success, but on instinct. You’ll create scroll-stopping content and keep your finger on the pulse of what's trending (because let’s face it, the internet never sleeps- and neither do cat videos). This role demands a creative, data-driven leader who knows their way around X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, BlueSky and YouTube like a pro. You’ll also be able and willing to embrace the rollercoaster of social, embracing new platforms you deem relevant. You’ll need to juggle multiple projects (bonus points if you can literally juggle), meet tight deadlines, and keep our brand fresh and responsive in the ever-evolving social media landscape. This also includes leading and helping grow our expanding Influencer program. You’ll report to the Vice President of Global Communications, collaborating closely with teams around the world.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience- we care more about your skills than your diploma)12+ years of experience in social media management with a proven track record of building followings, increasing engagement, and driving brand awareness for global brandsStrong content creation and editing skills with an eye for detail and an ear for what resonatesDemonstrated success in working with influencers and managing these partnerships globallyExperience leading and managing high-performing social media teamsExpertise in platform-specific strategies for X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTubeDeep understanding of social media analytics tools (and the ability to make numbers tell a story)A proactive, "always-on" approach with strong problem-solving skills (because social media doesn’t come with an off switch)Passion for cybersecurity and a desire to make the internet a safer, smarter place

Health coverage. We’ve got you covered with top of the line health plans, including dental and vision. We pay 100% of your premium and 85% for your family.

Yubico offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work. This role has the annual salary range of $170,000 to $190,000 for a candidate located in the San Francisco Bay Area. For roles that are filled in other locations, the compensation range will be based on data provided by the Radford McLagan Compensation Database from Aon. Final compensation is also based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
