The Learning & Development Specialist must possess the following expertise:

Content Development: Experience in developing content for both human skills (e.g., communication, leadership) and functional skills (e.g., technical, operational)
New Hire Employee Orientation: Capable of designing and delivering comprehensive onboarding programs that foster employee engagement from day one.
Talent Management and Succession Planning: Skilled in identifying high-potential employees and creating personalized development plans to ensure a strong talent pipeline
LMS Champion: Proficiency in managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enhance learning experiences.
Technical Proficiency: Competent in utilizing tools such as Canvas, and Camtasia for creating interactive and engaging learning content.
Certifications: A minimum of ILM (certification is required. Additional certifications in instructional design or e-learning are a plus.
Training Calendar: Ability to prepare and implement a structured training calendar, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
Training Needs Identification (TNI) / GAP Analysis: Expertise in conducting thorough TNI and GAP analysis to identify training requirements and close skill gaps effectively.
Evaluation and Feedback: Implementing a robust evaluation process to measure the effectiveness of training programs and incorporating feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Training Dashboard & MIS: Managing and maintaining the training dashboard and Management Information System (MIS) for tracking training progress and outcomes.
Market Research & Innovation: Conducting market research to identify emerging trends in Learning & Development and implementing innovative training solutions.
Content Delivery: Delivering training sessions that are engaging, interactive, and tailored to different learning styles.
Facilitation Skills: Strong facilitation skills to guide group discussions, workshops, and training sessions effectively.
Continuous Learning: Keeping up to date with the latest L&D trends and practices to continuously enhance personal and organizational knowledge.
