If so, we want you to lead our team as a Human Resource Generalist at The Place for Children with Autism, a best-in-class ABA therapy provider that specializes in providing evidence-based treatment for children on the spectrum.

HR Generalist at The Place:

Partner with the regional operations/ clinical team on all people operations matters (employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, etc.)
Support managers and employees through coaching on employee relations issues, policy, or benefits questions. Provide clear and accurate advice promptly.
Conduct investigations, documenting, and recommending corrective actions due to policy violations such as harassment and reasonable suspicion.
Assist the People Ops team on payroll, leave of absence, workers comp, leadership development, and training,
Create and support talent management initiatives including performance evaluations, talent reviews, succession planning, training/leadership development.
Foster a culture of engagement, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
Assist with facilitating new hire orientations while creating a positive first impression of the company and serving as a role model for company values.
Visit assigned centers on a regular cadence.
Champion employee well-being, work-life balance, and professional development.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field (preferred)
2+ years of experience leading or working autonomously on employee relations, employee engagement, investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management
PHR or SHRM – CP certification (preferred)
Paylocity HRIS experience (preferred)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
Experience with Employee Relations and Performance Management
Ability to build trusting relationships and collaborate with employees throughout the entire organization.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Works comfortably under pressure and meets required deadlines.
Assist with LOA, FMLA, STD, and Worker's Comp claims.
