We are currently seeking a skilled full-time HR-Payroll Manager to join our team and lead human resources initiatives across our organization.

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an HR-Payroll Manager to support a group of primary care clinics providing comprehensive healthcare services in the Raleigh-Durham area. As an HR-Payroll Manager at Praxi Physician Management, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the human resources and payroll function for these practices. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs to attract, retain, and develop top talent while fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. Additionally, you will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees on HR-related matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You will also be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of payroll regulations.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:**

- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process for various positions within the organization.

- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract diverse talent and build a pipeline of qualified candidates.

2. **Employee Relations:**

- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance, coaching, and conflict resolution support to managers and employees.

- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or concerns and recommend appropriate actions to address issues and promote a positive work environment.

3. **Performance Management:**

- Develop and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms to support employee development and engagement.

- Provide training and support to managers on performance management best practices and techniques.

4. **Training and Development:**

- Identify training and development needs within the organization, and design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.

- Collaborate with department leaders to create individual development plans and succession planning initiatives to support career growth and talent retention.

5. **HR Compliance:**

- Stay current on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and ensure company policies and practices are in compliance.

- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas of risk and develop strategies to mitigate compliance issues.

6. **Payroll and Benefits Administration:**

- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, and serve as the main point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits.

- Coordinate open enrollment processes and communicate benefit changes to employees.

7. **HR Metrics and Reporting:**

- Develop and maintain HR metrics and analytics to track key performance indicators and provide insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Prepare regular reports for senior leadership on HR-related metrics, trends, and areas for improvement.

8. **Payroll:**

- Manage the end-to-end payroll process, including data entry, calculation of wages, and deductions.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.

- Review and reconcile payroll reports, including tax filings, W-2 forms, and 1099 forms.

- Respond to payroll-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.

- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably in the healthcare industry.

- Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations, and payroll and tax laws.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization.

- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR compliance.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
