Job Summary

The Senior Manager, Sales Learning and Development, is responsible for the Sales learning strategy, including new hire development continuous learning. The intent is to accelerate the rate to proficiency for Sales new hires and to engage all Sales associates in the continuous development of technical skills and domain knowledge. Key to this role is creating and maintaining a learning program for onboarding Sales associates in their first year at Paycor that facilitates best practices and functional and domain knowledge mastery across the Sales department. Requirements

Define the Sales learning strategy and the offerings for associates to achieve the goals of accelerating onboarding time, increasing productivity and increasing retention.

Lead a team of Learning and Development Associates providing vision, leadership, and guidance to direct reports; coach and mentor to ensure an energized, motivating work environment and desired business outcomes are achieved.

Partner with leaders and associates to assess learning needs and requirements.

Work in close partnership with Sales, CX, Product, and HR.

Learning to repurpose existing learning tools for Sales.

Research and recommend a complement of internal and external learning programs that align with organizational business objectives and employee needs.

Partner with internal and external stakeholders to establish plans to deliver new learning projects and/or implement learning technologies.

Conduct ongoing evaluations and assessments to ensure program effectiveness and learner proficiency.

Establish goals and desired outcomes for new Sales new hire learning opportunities.

Manage external vendors; provide insight on Paycor’s priorities and culture to ensure content and materials align to organizational expectations.

Build templates and best practices to facilitate Sales knowledge management.

Create a multi-year Sales learning strategy with the HR Business Partner team, Enterprise Learning, and others and identify need for additional headcount to scale.

Manage the Sales training budget.

Performs essential leadership responsibilities

- meet regularly with each team member to monitor and discuss performance and personal development; address performance issues with appropriate disciplinary action, identify training and development needs and create plans to implement them; continually identify staffing needs and participate in hiring processes.

4-year business or learning-related degree

Minimum of 5 years of learning leadership experience, ideally with a focus on Sales

Ability to conduct learning needs analysis through a proven, consistent methodology

Knowledge of Adult Learning Model, training industry and best practices

Facilitation

Demonstrated experience with complex project management

Demonstrated experience working cross-functionally at all levels

Proven track record of delivering learning products to improve performance

Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Demonstrated proficiency with PC software, Microsoft Office Suite and web tools for conferencing and training.

Ability to adjust to rapidly changing environment and software.

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual's relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be between $113,130 - $193,138. In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
