What you will be doing?

Under the direction of the Head of Talent, co-ordinate and manage the delivery of learning and development activities, including the effective operational deployment of staff resources, to provide quality assured training to meet Force needs.

Responsible for the development, delivery and commissioning of training interventions to meet Force needs which encompass good practice and value for money.

Responsible for developing, maintaining and reporting upon the departmental ‘Costed Training Plan’ throughout the fiscal period, effectively working within a set budget and in accordance with procurement rules.

Responsible for developing partnerships with Universities, Colleges and other academic providers in implementing the Police Constable Entry Routes and other apprenticeship opportunities.
