Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience as an instructor, in curriculum development, or as a professional educator (such as K12).
Experience working with cross-functional teams and business leadership stakeholders.
Experience with instructional design principles and processes.

Preferred qualifications:

5 years of experience in training, curriculum development, instruction design, or learning design.
2 years of experience in stakeholder and change management with global know-how, and work across different time zones and cultures.
Experience in adult learning theory, instructional design, and assessment principles to develop and implement effective learning interventions.
Ability to design and implement skills-based learning programs for organizations at scale, encompassing live, and instructor-led training.
Excellent in project management, stakeholder management, and executive influence skills.

About The Job

The Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting GTM strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas and global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are investigative and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

As a Learning Specialist you design and develop learning experiences for Google’s Global Business Organization, customers and partners to support their growth, effectiveness and development. You will combine business data and design thinking to build multimodal learning experiences that drive improved business results against the highest-priority business objectives. In this role, you’ll be responsible for analyzing the needs of Go-To-Market learners, working with stakeholders and subject matter experts to align to business priorities, and ultimately, crafting learning experiences that enable individual growth, while driving business impact.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $105,000-$154,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Partner with key stakeholders (e.g. product, sales, GTM, marketing, etc.) to identify GTM'ers learning needs, establish learning objectives, and optimize learning content and materials.
Lead the design, execution, and measurement of comprehensive, blended skill learning experiences and Mastery programming at a global scale.
Apply creativity, problem-solving and design methods to develop skill infused learning experiences.
Choose appropriate instructional strategies and content modalities for defined learning challenges.
Own projects and timelines for assigned components of learning solutions.
