GA Telesis is looking for a Learning & Development Intern to join our team. This role will support our Learning and Development (L&D) function by assisting in the administration, coordination, and implementation of training programs and learning initiatives. Ideal for individuals looking to start a career in L&D, this position offers hands-on experience with learning management systems (LMS), content development, and training logistics within a collaborative environment. This is a paid internship ($15-16/hr) with the possibility to grow into a permanent role.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing the Learning Management System (LMS) by uploading and organizing course content, tracking learner progress, and troubleshooting basic issues.
Respond to learner inquiries, providing support and guidance on accessing and navigating learning resources.
Help maintain training records, attendance, and certification tracking to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate and schedule training sessions, workshops, and webinars, including logistics, invitations, and materials preparation.
Generate reports on learning engagement, completion rates, and other metrics, helping identify trends and areas for improvement.
Maintain an L&D calendar, ensuring all upcoming training events and deadlines are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
Support the development and distribution of internal communications to promote L&D initiatives, such as newsletters, email announcements, or intranet posts.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Human Resources, Education, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with an ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
