Heavy travel domestically and occasional international travel is a key component to this role. The training specialist (remote position) must manage their time effectively and take the initiative to identify, plan, and facilitate client training, emergency response strategies, and advise on regulatory civil aviation standards. Maintaining proactive communication and working with teams across the company and client organizations are essential to be successful in this role. Further duties are listed below:

Travel to new/existing clients to discuss and make recommendations to develop and enhance their emergency response capabilities and processes
Review client Emergency Response Procedures/Safety Plans. Provide SWOT analysis of those plans as requested
Plan, schedule, and organize training events
Facilitate Drills and Educational Exercises
Coordinate with clients to develop goals and objectives for exercise scenarios
Must be flexible and willing to perform at levels that meet demand during peak volumes
Required to be available during business and non-business hours

Education:

Bachelor's degree in business or aviation or a related discipline

Skills/Experience:

One or more of the following: Private Pilot License, Commercial or ATP
Must have 5-7 years of flight operations experience
Thorough understanding of FAA/NTSB and industry standards
Excellent verbal/written communication skills, with the ability and confidence to interact at the C-suite level
Adept in the classroom environment
Strong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Pro skills
50% Domestic travel to meet client schedules
Safety Officer experience in an Aviation environment
Knowledge of Aviation Emergency and Disaster Management
