We are seeking a Learning Experience Designers to help create highly customized, mind-blowing learning experiences for our large financial services client. Using evidenced-based adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies, design and build effective, performance-based learning experiences leveraging both synchronous and asynchronous learning modalities to support the team.

In this role, you’ll work within the L&D team. You’ll lead thecharge in aligning business needs with learning strategy, driving clarity, direction, and momentum within the project. This role for someone who knows how to step into a room (or Teams room), ask the right questions, and shape solutions that drive business impact.

What You’ll Do:

Lead needs analyses to uncover business challenges, performance gaps, and learner needs
Translate insights into clearly defined performance and learning objectives
Consult with key business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs)
Propose innovative learning solutions that are both practical and performance-driven
Design Needs Analysis and Design Recommendation presentations (in PowerPoint) to present to high level executive teams
Facilitate alignment across business units and SMEs while keeping learners at the center
Apply modern learning design strategies—including AI-enhanced tools—to elevate engagement and outcomes

Skills & Experience Requirements:

Degree in Instructional Technologies, Education, Organizational Development, or equivalent professional experience
Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools (e.g. dominKnow, Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia) and working within LMS environments
Exceptional knowledge of adult learning principles, best practices, and current trends
5+ years’ experience in hybrid learning design and development for large corporate clients
Exceptional communication and presentation skills—you’re as comfortable with business leaders as you are with SMEs
Strategic mindset with the ability to quickly assess challenges and recommend effective learning solutions
Familiarity designing with accessibility in mind
Experience in financial services is highly preferred

Start: third quarter of 2025

Duration: 6-12 months anticipated.

Hours: Because this is project-based work, billable hours will vary based on assignment of work and contractor availability. Working hours will be flexible.

Location: 100% virtual.

The pay range is $45 to $60 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and work location.
